Casey Pick is an advisor to American Unity Fund, providing legal and policy insight supporting American Unity’s state and federal advocacy. Prior to joining American Unity, she was the programs director and attorney-on-staff for the national Log Cabin Republicans, where her responsibilities included participating in lobbying efforts for a broad-based legislative agenda in support of LGBTQ freedom and individual liberty. Casey has also served as a legal researcher for the Williams Institute, a national think tank at the UCLA School of Law dedicated to conducting rigorous, independent research on sexual orientation and gender identity law and public policy. Over the years, Casey has worked on numerous campaigns in support of marriage equality in the states, and was an early member of the Young Conservatives for the Freedom to Marry. She now also serves as a member of the national Board of Directors for the Gay Christian Network. Casey holds a bachelor’s degree in Government from Claremont McKenna College and a juris doctorate from the University of California Los Angeles School of Law.
